Product Overview
The multiple pulse cable fault tester consists of a distance measurement host and pulse signal coupling unit. This dedicated system equipment was developed specifically for power cable fault testing to meet the evolving demands of the power industry. It provides comprehensive testing capabilities for various cable faults and establishes cable archives for maintenance and management.
Advanced TDR Technology
Utilizing the highest level of time-domain reflectometry (TDR) technology, this system features automatic fault distance determination with clear, simple waveforms. The multiple pulse technology based on TDR fundamentally transforms complex high-resistance fault waveforms into easily identifiable low-voltage pulse short-circuit fault waveforms, eliminating interpretation challenges.
The system converts any complex high-resistance waveform into familiar low-voltage pulse short-circuit fault waveforms, completely solving the long-standing problem of identifying complex high-resistance fault waveforms.
