Capacitance and Inductance Tester is used to measure the capacitance of capacitive equipment such as reactive compensation and the inductance of other inductive equipment, especially the measurement of capacitor capacity, which is extremely important for discovering whether the capacitor is damaged and avoiding accidents. It has two types of single-phase measurement and three-phase measurement.

Features
This instrument can measure the single capacitance of a group of parallel capacitors without removing the wires (both single-phase and three-phase capacitances can be measured). At the same time, this instrument can also measure the inductance of various reactors to meet various uses on site.
During measurement, this instrument displays the measured capacitance value or inductance value while also displaying the measured voltage, current, power, frequency, impedance, phase angle and other data.
It uses a seven-inch high-definition touch screen, which can be freely switched between Chinese and English, and can be equipped with a lithium battery.

Question 1: Unstable measured value / Fluctuating capacitance and inductance reading
Customer: When testing components inside the power capacitor compensation cabinet, the reading on the handheld LCR tester keeps jumping and cannot get stable measurement data. What causes this?
Manufacturer: Confirm the power capacitor is fully discharged before testing to avoid residual charge interfering with measurement results. Check whether the test probes have poor contact, oxidation or dirt on the metal contact surface. Make sure there is no strong electromagnetic interference from nearby high voltage equipment. Keep the test leads away from high-power cables. Reconnect the probes and retest. If the reading still fluctuates greatly, stop testing and contact technical support. Do not open cabinet for self-repair.
Question 2: Zero drift occurs / Measurement deviation exceeds allowable range
Customer: After powering on the handheld LCR tester, obvious zero drift appears, and the measured LC value deviates far from the nominal parameter of the capacitor and reactor. How to troubleshoot?
Manufacturer: Perform short-circuit zero calibration of test probes before formal measurement. Check if the ambient temperature and humidity exceed the working specification of the instrument. Inspect test leads for aging or internal breakage which will bring extra impedance error. Do not test in damp, dusty environment. Recalibrate the instrument and repeat measurement. If deviation still exists, stop operation and contact technical support. Do not open cabinet for self-repair.
Question 3: No response after probe connection / No reading displayed
Customer: The tester powers on normally, but no measurement reading appears after connecting the probes to the capacitor component in compensation cabinet. What should we check?
Manufacturer: Check if the test probes and connecting wires are broken or disconnected internally. Confirm the tested capacitor loop is completely disconnected from the power grid. Inspect the probe connector on the instrument for loose contact. Restart the handheld device to reset system program, then reconnect probes and test again. If there is still no reading, stop operation and contact technical support. Do not open cabinet for self-repair.
Question 4: Measurement failure on series-parallel capacitor group
Customer: When measuring series and parallel combined capacitor groups inside compensation cabinet, the tester fails to get accurate single capacitor parameter, what leads to this issue?
Manufacturer: Disconnect the connection bus of the capacitor group before testing to isolate single capacitor from the whole loop. Remove residual voltage of each capacitor fully. Check whether adjacent components cause coupling interference. Select the proper measurement range on the tester according to the rated value of capacitor. Retest after isolation. If the measured data is still incorrect, stop testing and contact technical support. Do not open cabinet for self-repair.
Question 5: Automatic shutdown during field measurement
Customer: The handheld LCR tester powers off automatically during on-site test for power compensation cabinet, cannot finish continuous measurement work. How to solve this problem?
Manufacturer: Check battery power level and charge the device fully before field operation. Inspect the battery contact terminals for looseness or oxidation. Avoid using the instrument under extreme high or low temperature which triggers power protection. Check if the power saving auto-shutdown function is enabled on the menu. Adjust setting or recharge battery and restart test. If auto shutdown happens frequently, stop operation and contact technical support. Do not open cabinet for self-repair.
