MY-BMT integrated transformer test bench is customized for power transformer in rated capacity 50kVA to 5000kVA, in voltage 6, 11, 24, 36kV/380V, and impedance ≤4~8%. Features
1.Adopted all data monitoring method according to the related international standard,the accuracy of data is guaranteed by the high precision power analyzer.
2.Primary circuit, secondary loop and interlock system are adopted to protect the system; the equipment is designed with split type; primary circuit and secondary control circuit are designed separately in the control unit to improve the security of tester and the product.
3.The system uses the three meter method (4P3W), instrument transformer includes six independent systems of 0.05class, which greatly improve the stability and precision of the test.
4.In the case of step-up testing, as the induction voltage regulator is driven by both the motor and turbine, it is hard to control test voltage accurately in the process of regulating, especially in the power frequency withstand voltage test and no-load test because of the inertia force. We adopt the frequency control method that the motor speed can be adjusted, which greatly improve the work efficiency and the accuracy of test data.
5.Wave analysis test can also be done with transformer by this system. (Power analyzer have this function).

After each test, the data is automatically collected to the computer; the editing software processes the measurement results and generates standardized test reports directly, which can be printed by the laser printer on site. The software also supports data archiving, historical record query and report templates, which greatly improves the efficiency of test report preparation and is especially suitable for transformer manufacturers and power test institutions that handle a large number of test tasks.
Q4: What should be noticed for wiring, high voltage safety and operation during the test?
Customer: This system involves high voltage testing. What safety points must I pay attention to?
Manufacturer: Safety first, especially for high voltage tests. Please strictly follow these points: First, the tested transformer must be completely disconnected from the power supply and reliably grounded before wiring; high voltage testing is strictly forbidden on live equipment. Second, before the withstand voltage test, confirm that the test leads and grounding connections are firm, and keep a safe distance from the high voltage output. Third, the system is equipped with a wireless sound and light alarm for safety protection; make sure the alarm device is activated and clearly visible to all personnel on site during the test. Fourth, operate the voltage regulator smoothly (slow ramp-up) and press the emergency stop button immediately in case of any abnormal condition. Fifth, after the test, discharge the tested equipment through the discharge rod and confirm zero voltage before disconnecting the leads.
Q5: How does the test bench perform the power frequency withstand voltage test, and how is the voltage raised and protected?

The regulator converts the AC 220V/380V power input into a smoothly adjustable 0-650V output; the test transformer then steps up this voltage to a maximum of 50kV at the high-voltage side and applies it to the tested transformer winding. During the test, the operator uses the slow ramp-up function to raise the voltage gradually at the set rate instead of switching it on suddenly, which avoids transient overvoltage on the insulation. Meanwhile, the HB2620 continuously monitors the leakage current and voltage in real time: if the current rises sharply (indicating insulation breakdown or flashover), the over-current protection immediately cuts off the output and triggers the wireless sound and light alarm to warn all on-site personnel. The emergency stop button provides a manual safety fallback at any time. After the test, the system automatically discharges the tested equipment to ensure safe disconnection.
