Product Description

It is used to determine the resistance of concrete specimens to repeated cycles of freezing and thawing in the laboratory by rapid freezing and thawing in water method.

This product is suitable for measuring the frost resistance of concrete specimen expressed by the number of rapid freeze-thaw cycles or frost resistance durability coefficient under the condition of water freezing and thawing. The product meets ASTM c666 .

FAQ
Question 1: Freeze‑thaw cycle cannot start, the device stays in standby status
Customer: After setting test parameters, the freeze‑thaw cycle program cannot run and the system keeps standby. What should I check?
Manufacturer: Confirm the door is fully closed and door‑lock is fastened; the chamber has a door safety interlock switch, open‑door status will block program startup. Check whether the liquid level of antifreeze solution meets the required scale. Verify all set parameters (cycle times, freezing & thawing temperature, holding time) are within allowable range. Restart the system and try again. If the fault remains, please contact technical support, do not disassemble the unit.
Question 2: Actual temperature deviates greatly from set temperature
Customer: The set freezing temperature is‑18℃, but the actual chamber temperature cannot drop down or cannot reach thawing temperature.
Manufacturer: Check whether the condenser cooling fins are blocked by dust, clean dust on heat‑dissipation fins regularly. Confirm ambient working temperature is within equipment requirement, avoid placing the unit under direct sunlight or near heat sources. Check antifreeze liquid volume and concentration. Do not overload too many test specimens inside the chamber. If temperature deviation still exists after above checks, contact after‑sales service for inspection.
Question 3: Alarm of liquid level shortage pops up during running test
Customer: The machine triggers low‑liquid‑level alarm and suspends the ongoing freeze‑thaw test.
Manufacturer: Stop the running program and cut off power supply. Open the liquid filling port and add qualified antifreeze solution to the specified liquid‑level mark. Check whether there is liquid leakage at pipe joints. Do not use unqualified antifreeze liquid, which may cause pipeline blockage or corrosion. After refilling, reset the alarm and restart the test.
Question 4: Test was interrupted due to power failure, can I resume unfinished cycles
Customer: Unexpected power cut stopped the ongoing freeze‑thaw test. Is it possible to continue remaining cycles instead of restarting from zero?
Manufacturer: This equipment supports power‑failure memory function. After power is restored, enter the program interface, you can choose to resume the unfinished test cycle.
